سورة الإسراء

وَمَا مَنَعَنَا أَنْ نُرْسِلَ بِالْآيَاتِ إِلَّا أَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهَا الْأَوَّلُونَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ النَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَةً فَظَلَمُوا بِهَا ۚ وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِالْآيَاتِ إِلَّا تَخْوِيفًا ﴿٥٩﴾

Surah al-Isra'

59. Nothing prevents Us from sending miracles, except that the ancients denied them. And We gave Thamood the female camel, an eye-opener, but they mistreated her. We do not send signs, except to instill reverence.
