سورة التوبة

اتَّخَذُوا أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿٣١﴾

Surah at-Tawbah

31. They have taken their scholars and their priests as lords instead of Allah, and the Christ son of Mary. Although they were only commanded to worship one God. There is no god except He! Glory be to Him, above the partners they ascribe.
